Top 5 Cryptocurrency Apps on Android in South America Q4 2021

During the fourth quarter of 2021, the top cryptocurrency apps on the Android platform in South America exhibited substantial user engagement and downloads. Data from Sensor Tower highlights the performance trends of these leading apps.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 221K in late October. Weekly active users also showed a consistent rise, growing from 820K at the start of the quarter to around 1.07M by the end of December.

MetaMask - Blockchain Wallet experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, with a significant spike to 105K in late November. Active users steadily increased throughout the quarter, starting at 209K and reaching nearly 288K by the end of December.

Crypto.com - Buy Bitcoin, ETH demonstrated a sharp rise in weekly downloads, peaking at 96K in the final week of December. Correspondingly, active users increased from 80K at the beginning of the quarter to approximately 196K by the end.

HTX: Buy Crypto & Bitcoin showed significant growth in weekly downloads, particularly in late November, where downloads reached around 111K. Active user numbers followed a similar upward trajectory, climbing from 5.4K to about 100K throughout the quarter.

Bitso maintained a steady increase in weekly downloads, with a peak of 51K in the last week of December. The app also saw a rise in active users, growing from 253K at the start of the quarter to nearly 375K by the end.
